NRENs are configured with either the opt-in or the opt-out model at the time of joining.
NRENs may switch at any time (contact GEANT Ops),
Opt-out model - GEANT tags NREN routes for announcement to all providers, and NRENs

Opt-in model - NRENs tag routes for selective announcement to all or specific providers,
and block communities take precedence over announce communities.

You must use two communities at a minimum.
One to specify who to prepend to, and how many times:
6480X: - Where X can be 1, 2, 3 or 6 times prepending

One to specify at which location to prepend, again specifying to whom:times:
648XX: - Where XX is the IX or POP code (see Informational communities)
origin:L:648X - As above
The following communities take effect globally; no location required.
If you need to prepend X times toward a subset of the below, you must do so per ASN.
